DREAM POP
Not only did Close to My Heart design a BEAUTIFUL paper pack, loaded with delicious colors and delectable embossed card stock...but they also provided a fabulous workshop guide to help those of us who are creatively challenged with a little inspiration and guidance!

There's still time to get your own Dream Pop collection...while supplies last but no later than May 31st...so don't delay, only 1 week remaining!

Below are the 2 two-page layouts, 3 cards and 6 treat tubes included in the workshop instructions!

You can download the Dream Pop Workshop Guide from my website at www.noreenschat.com
I'm really in love with the greys and pinks in this layout and on some of the papers!  As a little girl, grey and pink we're my two favorite colors, so these color combinations really bring back some old memories (not too old though, lol)
I'm not sure if it's the warmer weather, the pinwheels or that we've become regulars at the SnoCone Shack, but this layout really makes me think of summer days, no school, no homework and just loving the joys of summer vacation.  I know my boys are impatiently waiting for school to get out so they can officially begin Summer!

Fun treat tubes...the Pinwheel and Star stamps are from the May Stamp of the Month: Pinwheel!  Only $5 with a $50 purchase!  A customer suggested how adorable these same treats with stars done up in Red, White & Blue would be for a 4th of July treat!  These food-safe treat tubes are a great way to let someone know you're thinking of them and are perfect party favors!

The workshop can be created using only the papers in your Dream Pop Paper Collection, and you can embellish as you desire!  Use the embellishments in your stash, or pick up some new ones you've had your eye on!  Below is the "shopping list" of tools and embellishments referenced in the guide to help you decide what you'd like...either way, be sure to take advantage of our Dream Pop special and of course the A True Thank You stamp!!

CTMH Dream Pop Pinwheel Card

Do you fear incorporating NEW things into your crafting?  Clueless on how to add fabric to paper crafting?  Let me confess...when CTMH introduced our new Chantilly and For Always Textiles...I was SUPER excited...but here's the confession, I've just learned to quilt and was thinking of some fun projects I could make...but had NO CLUE how to incorporate the fabrics into my scrapbooking and paper crafting!

Thankfully, we have so many talented consultants within CTMH who quickly jumped in and have shared with us the fabulously easy way to incorporate these beautiful textiles into our projects!  And if you know me...I LOVE having different "textures" on all my layouts and creations...I always try for 3, for some reason that helps me feel "rounded out"! LOL

So now with our fabulous textiles, I have another option for my texture-fetish!

This beautiful pinwheel card was designed for me by Susan Williams and she's used our For Always Textiles (Z1820) to make the pinwheel!  Super cute!!  She has fabulous tutorials and artwork being added to her blog regularly, so be sure to follow it to stay up to date on the latest and greatest!

The newest tutorial focuses on the textiles and shows a super simple way to create ruffles on your projects!

I love the cricut cut flowers using the Dream Pop embossed card stock (more texture for me!)  The layering combined with the bakers twine, just gives that extra "something"!  Isn't it great how she's taken the time to make the inside of the card just as pretty as the outside!  Hmmm, thinking all my stash of cards are going to seem so plain on the inside now!

Make sure you get your Dream Pop collection in your hands soon before time or quantities run out!  Available only through May 31st (or while supplies last) for $10 ($19.95 retail value!)  So many beautiful creations already made with this paper to inspire you in your crafts!

Inspired to play with our textiles?  We have two options:  For Always (Z1820) and Chantilly (Z1819), each collection includes 3 designs at 14"x24" for only $8.95!  They coordinate beautifully with our collections and truly add that extra pop to your projects!

CTMH Dream Pop Sunburst Card

With the crazy weather moving throughout the United States, I'm certain many of us are longing for a little sunshine!  If you're not seeing it outside today, this card will give you that little burst of spring we've all been looking for!

Below is 1 of the 4 cards Susan Williams created and sent to me!  Keeping with the sunburst theme, this card really showcases some of the 12 patterns included in the Dream Pop paper packet!  Remember, this collection is ONLY available in May and while supplies last, so don't delay so you'll have plenty of time to play with this variety of yumminess!

If you haven't seen her tutorial yet, she does a fabulous job showing you how to create your own sunburst in a quick and easy way...so check out her tutorial!!  You'll want to follow her blog to stay inspired with all the beautiful artwork she creates!

She used the CTMH Exclusive Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge to create these beautiful flowers, then added dimension by stacking them and folding the petals up slightly!  Flourishes from our Mini-Medley Wooden Accents (Z1837) gives a little pop without taking away from the vibrant colors on this card!  I love the combination of neutrals and color to really make this card sing!

A great way to add neutral color AND texture is by using our Kraft Cardstock (Z1375), just something about it that no other "brown" cardstock can produce!

Some extra rays of sunshine inside the card to keep the theme going and share a bit of extra Spring that we're all in need of!  Loving it!!

Shop today to get Dream Pop into your hands and help fight off these blustery days we're having!

CTMH Later Sk8r Scrapbook Studio J Layouts

I've definitely enjoyed playing with the CMTH Later Sk8r collection...both in paper and digital formats!  Below are a few of the Studio J layouts I've completed using Studio J and Later Sk8r.  The colors work beautifully with all the pool-time layouts I've completed, as well as a little arcade, Vegas and several other pages.

This layout is one of the NEW Studio J patterns added last month:  Gallery Collection (8-9 photos).

This is another of our NEW Studio J patterns: Beauty in Repetition (10-12 photos).  Mandy and I discovered the Fruit Ninja game at Dave N Busters, so we spent quite a bit of time demolishing fruit and winning tickets...we took the game quite seriously...maybe a little too seriously, but it was so much fun!

Yet another of our NEW Studio J patterns...can you tell I was excited to see the new patterns arrive?!!  Supporting Cast can accommodate 14-16 photos!

One of my favorite benefits of Studio J (aside from the super-fast and easy way to create) is that I can duplicate a layout, then swap the pictures out so each of my boys gets their layouts with their photos featured!!  As you can see, these two layouts are essentially the same, I just rotated the right page to coordinate with the different photos, then swapped the boys pictures out, and wallah, they each have their own layouts!

And another quick layout using Later Sk8r and Studio J, this pattern is Snappy, an exclusive Studio J pattern that accommodates 14-16 photos!

CTMH Later Sk8r Cricut Treats

More with...

The My Creations Clear Treat Tubes (Z1823) are super easy to decorate, especially using Cricut Artiste cartridge to cut out the gears.  I cut a bunch of the gears in different shapes/sizes (1" -  2.5") to use on the projects below since I wasn't sure what I wanted to do until I started assembling.

The circles on top were actually the inner circles cut from <9><Shift><Accent 2>.  I used some of my remaining Stickease (X7167C), backed with Pear cardstock, to create the tags.  Then added the Green and Blue Epoxy Bubbles (Z1806) for a little pizzazz!

This cute little box is a simple 1-cut piece from the Close to My Heart exclusive Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge (page 22, #2 box) cut at 11.5".  I used our Shimmer Trim (Z1799) silver adhesive-backed tape to seal the box.  A few of our Artiste gears and a little bling finish off a quick and simple gift item.

These green boxes were cut using the CTMH exclusive Artiste Cricut Cartridge (p38) <8><3dObject> cut at 5".

This card has our Black Shimmer Trim (Z1809) for the bling, and one of our Later Sk8r Assortment (Z1810) rubber embellishments.

This Artiste Gear card is super cute with the Later Sk8r collection, great as a gift card holder, party invitation or any other sentiment for your guys!
(Artiste p39)  <9><Card> and <9><shift><card> both cut at 4.5"

CTMH Later Sk8r Studio J Flip Flaps

Can you believe that within 2 weeks of returning from my Close to My Heart Puerto Rico Incentive Trip, I completed the entire trip album?!!  Yes, it's true and with over 35 layouts!!

How is it possible?  With Studio J, of course!  I love how quick and easy Studio J enables me to capture my memories in beautiful layouts in record time!

If you're like me, when I go on trips I tend to take zillions of pictures in an attempt to capture the beauty of all I see!  So it's very difficult to get home and narrow those photos down to a select few, especially all the scenery!

I've found that Close to My Hearts Flip Flaps make that task quite a bit simpler...mostly in that I don't have to eliminate as many!  I can use more photos and still keep them down to a "single layout", just one that is a bit more interactive!

Here are 2 layouts I created in Studio J for our exploration of Fort San Felipe del Morro in San Juan.  However, in my album, this is a single layout that I've put together using the Flip Flap 12" Assortment (Z1325).

The layout below is the Studio J Magic pattern: Ta Da
This layout can be cut at 6" across the center and placed into our 12" x 6" flip flaps.

The next layout is Studio J Magic Pattern: Card Trick
Both layouts feature our Later Sk8r collection.  I'm really loving the color combinations: Outdoor Denim, Slate, Pear, Whisper and Lagoon making this collection versatile for so many of my photos and events!

Here is the layout as it looks in my album.  The TaDa layout is cut and placed in the 12" flip flaps over the right side of the Card Trick Layout.

Here is the right page with the flip flaps expanded.  A great way to create a "single layout" but truly using 4 - 12" pages!
