CTMH Cricut Artbooking Just Chillin' Layout

This is one of the Artbooking layouts I put together at the Close to My Heart Fall Album Retreat.  I modified my finished layout, as I really don't have much occasion to play in the snow here in Texas!  So I changed "just chillin' in the snow" to "just chillin' with my friends"!  Then added pictures of some of my long-time BFFs!!

Still time to receive 1 FREE "star" item from our Holidays from the Heart guide for every $100 order placed!!

CTMH Cricut Artbooking Scrapbook Mini-Album

Sometimes it's just so much fun to play!!  This mini-album is the first project we worked on at this years Close to My Heart Fall Album Retreat!  We used lots of the Bronze Shimmer Trim (which is a huge favorite of mine), but I was also surprised to find how much I loved using our Aqua Dots!!
Being able to use our Artbooking cricut cartridge to cut the pages and overlays, really simplifies making a mini-album for any occasion or theme!!
Enjoyed playing with this fun technique: Using the edge of a border stamp make it look like washi tape has been added to the edges of the paper, but it's just a partial stamp image on the top and bottom of this page above!
Funny how just a plain black pen can add such a "touch" to projects!  That's all we did around the sunburst above and the tabs below!  So super simple and easy!  Plus, CTMH has the black pen set on clearance in the While Supplies Last section of our website!!
Adding a little reinker into our spray pens allows you to add a little "texture" to plain card stock…such a simple, easy and fun technique to add a little "pop" to a plain page!

CTMH Sparkle N Shine Scrapbook Workshop

The Close to My Heart Workshops on the Go provide such great detail and inspiration for creating beautiful layouts and cards!!  These are the Sparkle N Shine Workshop on the Go layouts, with some minor tweaking on my part…either from an oopsy or from personal preference…but otherwise, it's as the workshop guide directed!  Love how easy it is to follow along, plus still have supplies leftover to make cards and other projects!

The stamp set included in the workshop on the go is super cute…especially the Merry and Bright ticket (which can be cut from Art Philosophy!!)  So fun!  The zip strips add some embellishments to the layouts, but of course I couldn't resist the washi tape…seriously, with 15 feet in each roll, you're welcome to use it on tons of projects!!  No need to skimp!

A little "bling" is always a perfect touch, and the pinwheels from the Sparkle N Shine Assortment make it quick and easy to add some dimension and embellishments to any project!!  Both the bling and the assortment are included in the Workshop on the Go!  What a great value, full paper pack (with a couple extra pieces of card stock), a D-sized stamp set and 2 full embellishment packs all for only $29.95!  Woohoo!

CTMH Sparkle N Shine Christmas Planner

Close to My Heart Holiday Christmas Planner!

I am so in love with this project!!  It was designed by Kelly English-Triggs, you can purchase a kit from her!  I purchased her kit and tweaked it a little so I was able to get these 3 planners from 1 Sparkle N Shine Paper Pack and Complements.  Then I used some of my "stash" of embellishments to bling them up!

Of course some of our Sparkle N Shine washi tape added to this project and really worked beautifully across the top of each of the planner pages!!  Don't forget, the washi tape in a 3-pack is only available through December 31st!These are created using our fabulous Fit Folios (such a versatile product!!)  Just a matter of scoring, folding, a little liquid glass, then embellishing them up!!  These three were put together for our boys teachers…and I was super excited at how easily they came together and how great they turned out!!

This shows the insides of one of them, they're all a little different so I could use up all the Sparkle N Shine Complements.  Kelly recommends stapling the organizers together and covering with a piece of paper…I decided to keep the sheets separate and just added a strip of washi tape over the top of each piece to give it a little bling to the plain paper!

Another inside example, with and without the planner pages.

The back side of all 3 of the planners, just solid papers.  The ribbon is attached across the front cover and left loose to wrap around the closed planner.  I used some extra long ribbon to ensure it could still be tied off even once filled with planner pages, receipts and any other information collection through the holidays!
