CTMH Ivy Lane Ring Box

My final Secret Sister gift was a pretty, blingy necklace delivered in a decorated CTMH My Creations Ring Box.  I used our Ivy Lane paper, purple shimmer trim, silver glitter paper and purple gems.

The butterflies were cut from our Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge in our silver glitter paper.  I'm definitely not a Cricut expert, so I don't do much with changing the dials on my cricut, I much prefer to cut and adjust as needed.  Fortunately, the CTMH glitter paper cuts like butter even when I leave my settings like I'm cutting card stock!  I think these butterflies are what really make these boxes rock!!
The inside of the boxes are empty to allow you to fill with your treasure of choice!

For presentation purposes, I didn't want the necklace just laying (and bouncing) at the bottom of the box, so I created a holder to keep the necklace in place.

Using a 4x4 piece of card stock, I scored 1" on all 4-sides, then cut 1" in on each of the 4 corners.  This allowed me to fold the ends in and place inside the box, with the chain at the bottom and the locket raised up on this simple platform.
I snipped about 1/2" diagonally on the 2 upper corners to wrap the necklace into place (hindsight, I probably should have done a small hole punch for the chain to feed through, but it worked).

CTMH Skylark Scrapbook Layout

This layout was inspired by a layout designed by Susan Williams.  I swapped the papers for Skylark, and used our Embossing Folders to give the card stock some extra texture and design instead of incorporating a 2nd patterned paper.

The Skylark Textiles were super easy to work with in creating these pinwheel flowers.

The Skylark Assortment and Triangle Durables keep the layout simple but elegant, while the twine from the Mini-Medley's Wooden assortment gives a little rustic twist of texture!

CTMH Skylark Mini Album

Another Secret Sister gift…although it wasn't till I was done creating that I realized I was giving 2 - mini-albums, hopefully she liked them!  Either way, I know I had fun creating them!

This mini-album used our My Creations Flip Stand Album.  The pages and shapes were all cut from the Cricut Artbooking cartridge, although I didn't stay on 1 key, it was fun just grabbing shapes and seeing how they'd work!  I used the Skylark Textiles to add some texture to the project.

These are the pages of the album (I only decorated the front-side since it would flip over the back of the album stand).

Don't forget, in April you can get the Artbooking Cricut Collection ($99 value) FREE when you purchase the CTMH consultant kit for only $99!  The kit includes this beautiful Skylark Paper plus over $300 in products/Supplies all for ONLY $99…that's over $400 in products for ONLY $99…seriously, you don't want to miss this deal!!  Join TODAY!!

The last page was actually inserted into the Flip Stand.  The hardware is easily unscrewed from the album stand, making it easier to insert a "backing" for the album and also allowing some flexibility in decorating!

CTMH Balloon Ride Mini Album

One of our CTMH traditions on our incentive trips is Secret Sisters!  Like Secret Santa, we each get another consultant that we deliver gifts to throughout our trip, revealing who we are at our closing reception!  Obviously our trips are a BLAST, but this just adds another fun element to the excitement!

I created this mini-album for my secret sister to capture her Costa Rica memories!  It was designed in Cricut Craftroom using the CTMH Artbooking cartridge, our new Balloon Ride papers and coordinating card stock colors.

The MyCreations Binder album is a new favorite for me…combined with the CTMH Cricut Artbooking collection, creating mini-albums is so quick and easy, and at only $5.95 for the binder album, it just can't be beat!

This first page really let me play in Cricut Craftroom.  The shape on Artbooking is actually Monday - Sunday.  So I used craft room to weld portions of 3 of these images together to put the days in the sequence of our Costa Rica adventure (arriving on Saturday and departing on Friday).

Don't forget, Artbooking is one of the CTMH Cricut Collections you can receive FREE in April when you join Close to My Heart!!!  For a $99 investment, you'll receive over $400 in products/supplies!!  As with all good things, like my fabulous Costa Rica trip, they must come to an end, so this special is only good through the end of the month…so don't delay and join today!!!  Not sure why you should join?  Check out all these fabulous reasons!!
