CTMH Chelsea Gardens Dear Friend Card

This marbled paper from the Chelsea Gardens collection is my FAVORITE from the set!  The flowers are pretty…but I love the unique look of this marbled paper!  The stamped images are from our Chelsea Gardens Cardmaking Stamp set.

Playing with vellum provides several fun new techniques when creating!  Using a bone folder to create the “torn” edges of the paper and using our Archival Black ink to stamp on the vellum adds a different touch.  I used our Thin3-D Foam Tape to pop up the butterflies and adhered the vellum underneath the butterflies to keep the adhesive hidden!

This image shows the difference in stamping on vellum with different inks and waiting 30 minutes to let the inks dry.  You can see that the regular Black Ink and even the Momento Ink smear after 30 minutes.  Archival Ink and Stazon do not. Archival Ink provides a crisper image…but if you don’t have it and have Stazon…that would be the next best option!
