So what happens when you finally get to attend your children's school field trip? Well for me it means I've taken 300+ photos of every cute activity they could possibly do! So how do I get those pictures whittled down to a manageable quantity? Sadly, I rarely do!
Thankfully, with Close to My Heart's Flip Flaps, I can still make a nice clean layout, but incorporate 30 photos into 1 layout!! Now it's an interactive layout, adding more interest to it...but meeting my goal of allowing me to use lots of the pictures to tell the adventures of the day!
Z4114: 4x6 Flip Flaps (qty 15)
Z1747: Flip Flaps Small Assortment
(which includes 4 each of 4 sizes: 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 and 3x4)
Z1726: 6x6 Flip Flaps (qty 10)
Z1325: 12" Assortment
(which includes 2 - 4x12, 2 - 8x12, and 4 - 6x12)
In this layout, I've used our 6x6 Flip Flaps to create 2 "mini-albums" on my layout, allowing me to incorporate multiple photos while keeping this layout clean!
On the left page I stacked 3 of the 6x6 Flip Flaps and on the right page 2 Flip Flaps, allowing me 10 - 6x6 mini-pages on my layout! Of course you could opt to use 6x6 photos, but I rarely print those and had so many pictures I wanted incorporated that the mini-album idea worked better for me!
Please excuse the glares...so hard to take pictures of layouts in protectors, but I wanted to be able to share the "insides" of the flip flaps and showcase the layout fully assembled!
Flip Flaps are also a great way to incorporate "blurry" photos that you don't want to discard as the memory is still one you want represented, but by placing it under/into a flip flap, it can still be available, but not the focal point of the main layout!
Love this idea
