CTMH Artbooking ProPlayer Scrapbook Layout

I'm spending a lot of time just playing with our new Cricut Artbooking collection.  This cartridge is just too much fun!  No energy or brainpower wasted trying to figure out sizes...just set the dial and play!  Everything here was cut at 11", except the hexagon, which was a last minute addition to help the title pop and was cut RealDialSize at 3"!
I used the new CTMH ProPlayer Paper Packet (X7172B), with Ruby, Outdoor Denim and Slate cardstocks (which are included in the pack) and I also used a piece of Whisper cardstock for the title, photo placeholders and some of the overlay backings to give a little shading.
I grabbed my little sewing machine to add some quick stitching around the layout and also around the hexagon...gotta have my textures!
The embellishments (corrugated arrows, stars & hexagons and metal-rimmed badge buttons) came from the ProPlayer Assortment (Z1879).
I placed the zipstrip from the ProPlayer paper beneath the arrows in the photo mats to give a little pop of color!  Since I didn't have photos ready for this layout, I only adhered the photo mats along the left side so I can lift them up and slide the photos into place when I'm ready!
I used foam tape to pop up the title and added the outdoor denim hexagon with stitching to help the title pop off the page a little better.
Artbooking Cuts (all at 11" unless otherwise indicated):

Ruby Cardstock:
<Overlay><J>
<Overlay><Shift><J>

Slate Cardstock:
<PhotoMat1><Shift><BFF> (cut 2 of these)
<PhotoMat2><BFF> (cut 2 of these)

Whisper Cardstock:
<2ofAKind>

Outdoor Denim Cardstock:
<Border><Shift><L> (real dial size 3")

I used scraps from my cardstock to cut different circles to be placed under the overlay.  I found it easiest to glue those pieces onto the back of the overlays first, then to glue the overlays down.

CTMH Artbooking Scrapbook Layout

WOW, this Cricut Artbooking cartridge has surpassed all others as my favorite!!  The ability to quickly and easily create layouts and mini-albums with just a couple keys has been phenomenal!

I created this adorable layout using our Babycakes Paper Pack (X7173B) and one of the Artbooking Nursery Layouts from the CTMH Cricut Artbooking Collection (Z1906)!

I was so excited to see how beautifully our Glitter Paper cuts in the Cricut!!  For this layout, I used the Brown & Tan Glitter Paper (Z1830) and the Green Glitter Paper (Z1847).  We also have a Black & Grey collection (Z1829).
I used small bits of scraps after cutting the shapes to put behind the photo mats to give the hearts a little zing!

What makes this layout more astonishing, is when you compare it to the Artbooking Handbook!!!  I used the Nursery Layout sketch as depicted in the handbook, the only change is I moved the 2nd title to the upper righthand corner.  Amazing how easy all of this was!!  The hardest part was picking the paper!!

Notice the 11" recommended measurement...all the elements are created to be proportionate to each other, so by setting my dial at 11" (for a 12" layout), everything was cut perfectly to create a proportional 12x12 layout, to include telling me the measurements for my photos!!

CTMH Surfs Up

These little packages were created with our Cricut Artiste and Cricut Art Philosophy cartridges!

The pillow boxes were cut using the Cricut Art Philosophy:
pg 28 cut at 5.75"  <Shift><Font Layer><Shape1>

A little Liquid Glass was added to give a water effect on the pillow boxes over some of the waves/splashes, then some leftovers from our Wooden Mini-Medleys added a little extra texture to the project!

The treat boxes were cut using Cricut Artiste:
pg 62 at 2"  <3D Object><x>
These boxes were embellished with the Surfs Up Assortment and some Mocha Opaques.

The card on the left was also cut using our Cricut Artiste collection:
pg 49 at 4.5"   <Card><o>, <Shift><Card><o>
The card on the right used a little of our Almond Glitz Glitter Gel to "bling" up the title!
