CTMH Today Scrapbook Layout

One of my team members, Sue Rowe, shared this great idea for our December exclusive Through the Year Calendar kit!  She started scrapbooking years ago by creating calendar scrapbooks for each of her kids.  Knowing she could create just one page a month and use the calendar to document her children's activities, appointments, friends and even little things they said that she wanted to remember.  This provided a manageable way to get started without being overwhelming and gave each child a "yearbook" of their memories!  Set a reminder on your phone to order the Through the Year Calendar Kit when they become available December 1st and start documenting your families year, whether you opt to create one page at a time, or knock out the entire calendar...this kit is a fabulous way to capture memories through the year!

The left page of this Today layout is August from our December Through the Year Calendar Kit (read below).  The right page was created following the Reflections Pattern 3D using scraps from the kit and supplemented with Basic Fundamental Papers.

I used our 3D Foam Dots and Thin 3D Foam Dots to raise the stickers up at different levels for dimension to the project.

CTMH is offering an exclusive Calendar Kit available in December.  Personally, I don’t have a use for the calendars, but of course love scrapbook pages.  So I’ve taken the Calendar Kit, added some Basic Fundamental Papers and White Daisy Cardstock and created the single pages with a complementary page.

The upside, is you can take advantage of the Fundamentals Sale we’re having in November and order the Basic Fundamental Papers (Z3353) at 30% off OR the Basic Fundamentals Collection at 40% off to create additional pages to go with the December Calendar Kit!!!  The calendar kit does call for the November Stamp of the Month: Through the Years, that you can order for ONLY $5 when you spend $50 in November!!

I recreated the gold glitter die-cuts from the Calendar Kit in Design Space and cut in smaller sizes to add more bling across both pages! Then further embellished with Gold Glitter Gems, Gold Shimmer Trim, Gold Glitter Paper, Gold & White Twine and the Gold Shimmer Pen.  I also added a few more sheets of cardstock from the Cats & Bats Coordinating Cardstock (X7224D)!
