Bella Cards - Scraps

As you've seen by my posts...I've been playing a lot with Bella. I've used it for several scrapbook pages and mini-albums, etc...so now I had a bag of scraps leftover! So, I spent some time trying to use up my scraps and created this collection of cards (most I was able to make 2-3 of each design).

Now, if I could just get into the habit of whipping out these cards as soon as I finish a layout, it would be awesome! But, I'm still delighted to have made use of all these scraps and now I have a batch of cards to send out!

Let me know what you think! ;0)

Wishes with Bella

Create your cards in a snap with Close to My Hearts newest How-to Book, Wishes! Bulk cardmaking, trendy circle cards and all new patterns make Jeanette Lynton's latest hardbound, how-to cardmaking book a must have!

I used my FAVORITE Summer My Reflections Kit, Bella (X7114B) and the Wishes Greeting Card Workshop to design these 16 cards (8 designs, 2 cards each). It was quick and easy to put together following the card confidence design and all made with only 1 piece of patterned paper and 2 sheets of cardstock, plus the 16 card bases! Add a little stamping (I used: Thank You, D1361) and some embellishments and I have 16 Thank You cards ready to go!

I love our new Wishes book...most especially the Card Workshops incorporated into it...making it so easy not whip up a beautiful batch of cards in no-time!

Bella - All Natural!

Trey and Caden had their school pictures taken...so trying to decide what papers to use, I found the Workshops on the Go (kit of the month) layout created with Bella worked great for these pics!

I love Bellas color scheme of Hollyhock (my favorite of our 60 colors!!!), Olive, Smokey Plum and Creme Brulee! Most of the projects I've been making have focused on the Hollyhock and Smokey Plum...but using the Olive with Smokey plum on this layout gives more of a natural color and allows me to use it withh pictures of my boys!!

I was delight to be able to finalize the layout and get the boys pictures scrapbooked all in one fell swoop! I rotated the pages to accommodate the pictures and swapped the journaling block for a picture.

I am still struggling with how grown up the boys are starting to look...no chubby cheeks and little baby faces...definitely looking more like little boys...and they are already planning their 5th birthday party...what are we to do? ;0)

CTMH Baby Shower 15 minute Album

Create an adorable mini album in 15-minutes using Close to My Hearts Level 1 My Reflections kits and the My Creations Display Album (Z1054)

Select your favorite CTMH Level 1 My Reflections Kit, in this mini-album I used Sweet Pea (X7093) to create a quick Baby Shower Gift. I didn't use the Alpha stickers so they can be included in the gift and our "Mom to be" can personalize the album! I used remaining scrap to make gift cards and added a little bling to the album.

With the Level 1 Preprinted Layouts, when you cut them into 6x6 pages, they are already done for you!!! Then I used remaining pieces to add photo mats or extra page designs for the solid color pieces.

Our newest My Reflections Kits - Animal Cookies (X7112A), is another fabulous Baby Shower idea! Silhoutte (X7090A) is fabulous for Bridal Shower Gifts. And don't let the ideas stop there...any of our Level 1 My Reflections Kits can be quickly transformed into a 6x6 Mini-Album!

Our Family Vacation

WOW...our trip to California was awesome! The boys are still talking about Disneyland, the "Mountain" roller coaster, the beach and the HUGE desire to go back! ;0) It was so much fun and we truly enjoyed every bit of it! Legoland was a big success and so much fun...the boys continue to talk about the racetrack and going back when they're older so they can ride the big boy racetrack! We weren't sure how they'd react to the Disney characters...but aside from some initial shyness...they were pretty excited about meeting Mickey, Minnie, and the gang!

Hiking back to the hotel after a LOOOONNNNGGGG day. The kids were all real troopers...it was only about a 10 minute walk...but on this day we walked 10 minutes in the opposite direction so we could have dinner at Bubba Gumps...then had to walk back to the hotel for 20 minutes...so they were done...Mandy snapped this picture of us lugging them back...it was a fun night and Bubba Gump...YUMMMYYY! ;0)

Can't do Disney & leave without the ears! ;0) They looked so cute...even if they were tired...recommend getting the ears while they're all still fresh and perky...we waited till the end of the day so they weren't crushed, but of course all were tired at that point! ;0)

And the fireworks...just beautiful! I snapped this pic as we were walking past...turned out alright considering I was moving! ;0) Doesn't even begin to speak to how awesome the show was!

My Dad, Brother and his family joined us at Disney...we are taking the 2nd through 6th row of the boat...great ride, no line...oh, maybe cuz you do all the work! ;0) But the kids loved the rowing...and it was a nice way to work off the munchies we'd been consuming!

San Clemente Beach...gorgeous! Our family friend, Gino, acted as tour guide and took us out to the beach in San Clemente and the pier.

The boys were upset when they realized this did not constitute a "bath" when we got back to the hotel. But absolutely loved this, as you can see!

Now I just need to find some time to actually scrapbook all the pictures we took...meanwhile, we are happy to be home and settling back into things but continue to talk about the fun we had on our first big family vacation since the boys joined us!! ;0)
