We used an overlay to spritz a pattern onto our background page! I love this as it provides a subtle look without being overdone!! Some additional “touches: using a basic journaling pen to “doodle” around some of the cuts really helps them pop! Sanding the edges of the photo mats to give the layout a little more texture, and of course my beloved shimmer trim!!

Tips/Techniques:
- Use a Cricut® overlay as a mask and spritz with re-inker for
a background that doesn't overpower the page
- Stay with a theme from two specified keys to create an easy
and beautiful layout
- Use a Cricut® photo mat as accent piece
- Offset a layered border for added dimension
- Add freehand borders to add detail
- Back number shape with different cardstock to personalize

assortment for extra detail
