CTMH Surf's Up Scrapbook Layout

Use the CTMH Surf's Up paper collection to celebrate your fun in the sun!!

This layout is from the Make It From Your Heart Volume 1 pattern book (pattern 4, pg 12)!

Created with the Surfs Up paper collection (X7168B) and embellished with the Stickease (X7168C), Surfs Up Assortment (Z1841), Mini-Medley Wooden Accents (Z1837), and the Mocha Opaques (Z1333)!

I used 3D Foam Tape (Z1151) to pop up the Paradise Found title from the Stickease!  A great tip I learned from some of my Florida friends (ya'll know who you are and I still have my gifted bottle of baby powder!!):

Stick the foam tape on the back of the Stickease leaving the backing on the foam, then sprinkle baby powder over the remaining exposed sticky on the Stickease to make it non-stick.  This will enable you to pop up your stickease without fear of it being pushed down and accidentally sticking in spots (hopefully that makes sense!)

CTMH For Always Treats & Cards

The CTMH Treat Tubes (Z1823) are some of the quickest and easiest ways to give a little gift to let someone know you're thinking of them!  These tubes can be filled with treats, bath salts, mini-manicure set (cotton ball, nail file and mini-nail polish) and any other combination of thoughtful items to share a smile!
These treat tubes were covered using a 4x2 strip of For Always paper.  Our CTMH Liquid Glass (Z679) works beautifully for adhering to non-paper surfaces, whether it's plastic treat tubes, metal accessories or buttons, liquid glass will adhere it securely!!  I also used our CTMH Cricut Artiste Collection to cut these adorable bows!  So quick and easy to cut and assemble...the results are oh, so cute!

These cards are from the For Always Cardmaking Workshop on the Go (G1060)...don't delay, this workshop is only available through July 31st!!  So order today!!

CTMH Surfs Up Scrapbook Mini Album

Using the CTMH My Creations Memory Showcase 6x6 accordion-style album is a quick and easy way to create an adorable mini-album perfect for gifting and memory keeping!

The Surf's Up Paper Packet, Stickease and Assortment make it quick and easy to create the mini-pages for this album, the hardest part was deciding which pages to put where!

For the twine, I wrapped it around the page before adhering to the album to ensure it was secured and without any loose ends!  The small mocha opaques add a little bling and dimension to the Stickease banner.

Using the 3D Foam Tape to pop up some of the stickease provides more depth to the layering and gives separation between like colored items.
This page was "fussy-cut" out of one piece of the B&T papers, then I placed 3D Foam tape along the bottom and sides to create a "pocket" on the page for photos and tags!

A little liquid glass and some twine with a popped up Stickease gives a some dimension and texture to this page...all ready for those pictures!

CTMH For Always Scrapbook

Close to My Heart's For Always paper collection (X7165B) is absolutely gorgeous in the classic black and white patterns, allowing you to add your own pops of color to coordinate with your photos!!
I'm having a definitely love-affair with our Shimmer Trim self-adhesive glitter tape!!  It currently is available in Silver (Z1799) and Black (Z1809)...but check in August and you'll see additional colors added to the line-up!!
These pictures are from the cruise Mandy and I went on last summer to celebrate her graduation.  The papers worked beautifully with our photos and I loved having the "bling" and pops of color to dress it up!
Hopefully I'm not the only one who prints their pictures, then realizes they weren't quite the right size or orientation?!  I did finally get the correct pictures printed, but not before I took these pictures and I didn't want to delay any longer in getting these shared with everyone!

Love the Stickease with the "polaroid" frames...although soon I guess we'll be "dating" ourselves by calling them that?!

CTMH Flip Flap Album

I absolutely love our Close to My Heart products, the innovation, creativity and beauty is unmatched!!  My 3 top favorites are our Flip Flaps, Studio J and Cricut Cartridges!!

This album was created using Studio J and as you'll see, plenty of Flip Flaps!!  I tried my hand at creating a video to better showcase all of the layouts and Flip Flaps!

CTMH Flip Flaps Mini-Album Layout

So what happens when you finally get to attend your children's school field trip?  Well for me it means I've taken 300+ photos of every cute activity they could possibly do!  So how do I get those pictures whittled down to a manageable quantity?  Sadly, I rarely do!

Thankfully, with Close to My Heart's Flip Flaps, I can still make a nice clean layout, but incorporate 30 photos into 1 layout!!  Now it's an interactive layout, adding more interest to it...but meeting my goal of allowing me to use lots of the pictures to tell the adventures of the day!

Z4114: 4x6 Flip Flaps (qty 15)
Z1747:  Flip Flaps Small Assortment
(which includes 4 each of 4 sizes: 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 and 3x4)
Z1726:  6x6 Flip Flaps (qty 10)
Z1325: 12" Assortment
(which includes 2 - 4x12, 2 - 8x12, and 4 - 6x12)

In this layout, I've used our 6x6 Flip Flaps to create 2 "mini-albums" on my layout, allowing me to incorporate multiple photos while keeping this layout clean!

CTMH Chantilly Scrapbook Layout

Chantilly
Close to My Hearts Chantilly papers are absolutely gorgeous!  Sadly, my photography does not do them justice...but hopefully this layout shows a little of the beauty in this collection!
Of course I had to play with my Flip Flaps...love them!!  The bottom right photo on the left page has a 4x6 Flip Flap allowing me to add 2 extra pictures to the layout!
The photos worked great with this layout and captures a really fun, relaxing day we had on our "Graduation Cruise" last June.
Love the Chantilly Dimensional Elements chipboard!  It gives the extra texture and layers I love on my layouts and of course works beautifully with the papers!
The Chantilly Assortment (fabric coated buttons) and Glitter Gems finish it off nicely!  I used some of our 3D Foam Tape to allow me to overlap the chipboard without it being all cattywonkas (however you spell that, lol)
Check out some of my other Flip Flap projects!

DREAM POP
Not only did Close to My Heart design a BEAUTIFUL paper pack, loaded with delicious colors and delectable embossed card stock...but they also provided a fabulous workshop guide to help those of us who are creatively challenged with a little inspiration and guidance!

There's still time to get your own Dream Pop collection...while supplies last but no later than May 31st...so don't delay, only 1 week remaining!

Below are the 2 two-page layouts, 3 cards and 6 treat tubes included in the workshop instructions!

You can download the Dream Pop Workshop Guide from my website at www.noreenschat.com
I'm really in love with the greys and pinks in this layout and on some of the papers!  As a little girl, grey and pink we're my two favorite colors, so these color combinations really bring back some old memories (not too old though, lol)
I'm not sure if it's the warmer weather, the pinwheels or that we've become regulars at the SnoCone Shack, but this layout really makes me think of summer days, no school, no homework and just loving the joys of summer vacation.  I know my boys are impatiently waiting for school to get out so they can officially begin Summer!

Fun treat tubes...the Pinwheel and Star stamps are from the May Stamp of the Month: Pinwheel!  Only $5 with a $50 purchase!  A customer suggested how adorable these same treats with stars done up in Red, White & Blue would be for a 4th of July treat!  These food-safe treat tubes are a great way to let someone know you're thinking of them and are perfect party favors!

The workshop can be created using only the papers in your Dream Pop Paper Collection, and you can embellish as you desire!  Use the embellishments in your stash, or pick up some new ones you've had your eye on!  Below is the "shopping list" of tools and embellishments referenced in the guide to help you decide what you'd like...either way, be sure to take advantage of our Dream Pop special and of course the A True Thank You stamp!!

CTMH Dream Pop Pinwheel Card

Do you fear incorporating NEW things into your crafting?  Clueless on how to add fabric to paper crafting?  Let me confess...when CTMH introduced our new Chantilly and For Always Textiles...I was SUPER excited...but here's the confession, I've just learned to quilt and was thinking of some fun projects I could make...but had NO CLUE how to incorporate the fabrics into my scrapbooking and paper crafting!

Thankfully, we have so many talented consultants within CTMH who quickly jumped in and have shared with us the fabulously easy way to incorporate these beautiful textiles into our projects!  And if you know me...I LOVE having different "textures" on all my layouts and creations...I always try for 3, for some reason that helps me feel "rounded out"! LOL

So now with our fabulous textiles, I have another option for my texture-fetish!

This beautiful pinwheel card was designed for me by Susan Williams and she's used our For Always Textiles (Z1820) to make the pinwheel!  Super cute!!  She has fabulous tutorials and artwork being added to her blog regularly, so be sure to follow it to stay up to date on the latest and greatest!

The newest tutorial focuses on the textiles and shows a super simple way to create ruffles on your projects!

I love the cricut cut flowers using the Dream Pop embossed card stock (more texture for me!)  The layering combined with the bakers twine, just gives that extra "something"!  Isn't it great how she's taken the time to make the inside of the card just as pretty as the outside!  Hmmm, thinking all my stash of cards are going to seem so plain on the inside now!

Make sure you get your Dream Pop collection in your hands soon before time or quantities run out!  Available only through May 31st (or while supplies last) for $10 ($19.95 retail value!)  So many beautiful creations already made with this paper to inspire you in your crafts!

Inspired to play with our textiles?  We have two options:  For Always (Z1820) and Chantilly (Z1819), each collection includes 3 designs at 14"x24" for only $8.95!  They coordinate beautifully with our collections and truly add that extra pop to your projects!

CTMH Dream Pop Sunburst Card

With the crazy weather moving throughout the United States, I'm certain many of us are longing for a little sunshine!  If you're not seeing it outside today, this card will give you that little burst of spring we've all been looking for!

Below is 1 of the 4 cards Susan Williams created and sent to me!  Keeping with the sunburst theme, this card really showcases some of the 12 patterns included in the Dream Pop paper packet!  Remember, this collection is ONLY available in May and while supplies last, so don't delay so you'll have plenty of time to play with this variety of yumminess!

If you haven't seen her tutorial yet, she does a fabulous job showing you how to create your own sunburst in a quick and easy way...so check out her tutorial!!  You'll want to follow her blog to stay inspired with all the beautiful artwork she creates!

She used the CTMH Exclusive Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge to create these beautiful flowers, then added dimension by stacking them and folding the petals up slightly!  Flourishes from our Mini-Medley Wooden Accents (Z1837) gives a little pop without taking away from the vibrant colors on this card!  I love the combination of neutrals and color to really make this card sing!

A great way to add neutral color AND texture is by using our Kraft Cardstock (Z1375), just something about it that no other "brown" cardstock can produce!

Some extra rays of sunshine inside the card to keep the theme going and share a bit of extra Spring that we're all in need of!  Loving it!!

Shop today to get Dream Pop into your hands and help fight off these blustery days we're having!
