The anchor was stamped from the Beach Days stamp set. I opted to paper piece it by stamping it in both Pacifica and Sorbet, then cut out the Sorbet anchor and glued it over the Pacifica piece. The other option would have been to mask the image, but I elected to paper piece it instead.
The
Adventure title was stamped in Pacifica using the Handwritten Print stamp set.
The banner “Nothing but blue skies ahead” was cut from the zip strip on
the Regatta paper and the blue enamel dots give a touch of bling.
It might be that I’m a July baby and the Cancer Crab is my sign…but seriously, I’m loving this little crabby dude!! The Beach Days stamp set includes him, along with an octopus, starfish, beach ball and more…such a versatile set, and even better, it’s a Cricut coordinating stamp set, which means I could have used the Artistry Cricut cartridge to cut out the Octopus, banner, crab, starfish, anchor, beachball and Salt in the Air quote!
The more I play with the Handwritten Print stamp set, the more I love it!! With uppercase, lowercase, numbers and punctuation included in the single set, it provides a fabulous font for layout titles!
